$85 in Gas Cards ($75 for Gas + $10 for Sears) or Free Steaks!

Just in time for Dads Day, Sears has a pretty awesome deal in store starting this Saturday. If you buy $100 in Dockers clothes (excluding shoes), you get a $75 gas gift card, a $10 Sears gift card, and a chance to win a new Toyota Prius. Granted, all this is in rebate form, so you can only give Dad some pants and a few shirts on Fathers Day, but $100 worth of clothes is pretty nice and you can keep the cards.

The Press Release explains all the details, so make sure you check it out. You can get the rebate form here.

Another thing to keep in mind, K-mart gift cards now work at Sears (and visa versa) and Sears has a bunch of sales on Men's Dockers through Saturday to save even more money. They also are offering a Stimulus Check Bonus of 10% back to save even more. Just some things to think about.

I've also read that Kohl's Department Store is doing something similar, but with Omaha Steaks. You can check out the details and get the form here.

Aliph Jawbone Bluetooth Headset (FEATURED)

Sorry for the lack of posts in the past couple of days. I haven't been around a computer since Friday afternoon, but I'm back and I promise to post a daily deal, ATLEAST!

A few weeks back, I upgraded my phone and wanted a better bluetooth headset to go with it. I ended up buying the Jawbone from Aliph for over $80. Amazon has the Black and the Grey one on sale for $64.99. A pretty great deal, considering most retailers are selling it for over $120!

Overall the quality is great. It cancels a good amount of background noise and I wish more people would use these instead of me having to listen to every tiny nose in the background when I'm talking to people using their mobile phones.

As usual, I've updated the store with the latest deals, so check that out as well.

Crisis Core (PSP) (FEATURED)

Ok, I took this deal from Amazon's Video Game Deal of the Day. I figured I'd kill 2 birds with one stone, because in the world of finding great deals, the amount of content is never lacking!

I promise, I'll start getting deals from other stores soon, but Amazon has some pretty amazing deals for me to just pass up telling you about! Plus you don't even know about all the cool ways to save money on Amazon yet.

Today, Amazon has Crisis Core for the PSP for only $25.99. Pricegrabber has the next lowest price at $37.95!

Crisis Core is a pretty awesome game. I haven't played through it yet, but I have tried it for a couple hours. It's the prequel to Final Fantasy VII (PSX). So you Final Fantasy fans who haven't picked it up, nows your chance.

Now as for Amazon's Video Game Deal of the Day, everyday, Amazon features a video game, console, or device used in gaming. You might find controllers, component cables, GameCubes, etc, it all depends on the day. The savings all depend on the day, but definitely won't find a place that comes close in price.

Another cool feature is that you can register the deal to work with your mobile phone. You text the word gamedeal to 262966 (AMAZON) and it will return todays game. If you want to buy the game, you can reply with 1! Even when you can't get to a computer, you can still check out the daily deal so you don't miss out!

As usual, I will update the Finding Deals' Amazon Deals store daily, so check it every morning!

Samsung 52" HDTV Plus TiVo HD Box (FEATURED)

Today I have a super deal for all you HD fans out there! Amazon has a special going on where you get a free TiVo TCD652160 HD DVR for every Samsung HDTV you buy. On top of that, they just so happen to have an amazing deal on the 52" Samsung LN52A550 LCD HDTV. After adding both to your cart and going into the checkout, the final price is $1,888.86!! Pricegrabber has the HDTV for $1934.00 and the TiVo for $209.98. If my math is correct, that's a savings of over $255!

Right now, I'm going to apologize if the formating on this post is a little weak. The truth is, this deal is so good, that I had to post it while I was at work, and they have a site blocker which blocks most advertising, so I can't even see what the final post looks like.

Anyways, the best way to get this deal is by clicking on the TV link, looking at the price Amazon won't show and clicking on the Green icon for extra savings. You can then quickly add both items to your cart with the click of one button (Scrolling down on that page also works). You can add them separately from here, but you have to make sure you add the TiVo from Amazon and not the less expensive vendor.

I've also added the deal to the Amazon store, so you might want to throw the remote in there while your at it. You can program the remote to work with the TiVo and you won't have to have a bunch of lousy remotes laying around!

update: it looks like the TV is now $1899.99. But you still get the TiVo for free!

Blu-Ray Movies 50% off! (FEATURED)

Amazon is notorious for having some of the best HD Movie sales around. Back when HD DVD was alive, you could find Buy 1 Get 1 (BOGO for short) deals on both formats almost monthly. Needless to say, my Blu-ray collection grew pretty quickly back then.

Now you might find a B2G1 (Three for the Price of Two) sale every other month. As it turns out though, Amazon wanted to be be super nice at the end of May and have a bunch of Blu-ray movies marked down 50%! I listed all the movies that are 50% off in the Finding Deals' Amazon Deals store front.

If you are looking for other good Blu-ray deals, you can check out the rest of their selection which are marked down more then 40% off by going here. They have over 110 Blu-rays on sale right now, so go check it out!A

Finding Deals' Amazon Deals

I mentioned in my first post I would document how I was going to try to make a little bit of money on this site. At this point, I could litter my blog full of Adsense ads and other easy to use ad tools, but since this site costs me nothing but time as of now, I want to keep the revenue earning portions of the site as subtle as possible.

So welcome to Finding Deals' Amazon Deals! At this point, I'm going to fill the store up with a bunch of sale priced items and update the store daily with new deals I find. So in a way, it's just another good place to look for good deals besides the places I'm sharing with you. Eventually, I'll integrate it into the site better, but until then, it will just be displayed via the Amazon site with a link back to here.

I did also mention before that I would start having posts with good deals I've found. I'll combine that post with this one since they somewhat go hand in hand.

Today I'm featuring the Logitech Harmony 550 Universal Remote. This remote retails for $130 and the lowest price on Pricegrabber.com is over $70!

I have the Xbox 360 version of this remote and paid way more then this for a used one! You can connect the remote into your computer, add all your IR devices (TV, Receiver, Xbox 360, PStwo, etc) and then program different activities. For example, you can have an activity called "Watch TV". When you choose this option, it will turn on any device needed to Watch TV as well as switch the inputs on each device. If you control the volume with your Receiver the volume buttons on the remote will control the receiver. If you have a cable box that changes the channel, then the numbers and the Channel Up and Channel Down buttons will control the set top box. It's a pretty awesome piece of technology, especially if you have a nice home theater. Heck, if you have your lights on an IR switch, you can turn on and off your lights or even dim them for movies and what not. Plus whatever button you might be missing on the remote, you can add to the LCD screen which displays 4 different functions at a time and can store multiple pages of them!
